Freedom Family is going Fish! A day of fun for the family to enjoy together at the Sunrise Catfish Farm in Deridder, La. Bring your fish gears (you may rent on site), food, and the entire family on Saturday, July 8th from 8 AM – 4 PM. Each family is responsible for bringing their own fishing supplies & food. There is a bait shop to rent rods for $10 each and purchase fish baits. You must try their homemade ice cream, cinnamon rolls, and burgers. It is worth every penny. They will weigh and charge $3.00 a pound for every fish you catch. If you want them to clean and filet the fish, it is $3.50 a pound. You may bring tents and cooking supplies/utensils to fish fry on-site. They take credit cards on-site. It is a 4% charge to purchase with credit cards. Also, there’s an ATM and a change machine too.
